Announcement    Welcome to my shop! I sell hand-spun fine yarns, rustic yarns, and specialty art yarns, as well as hand-dyed roving for spinning or felting, some of which originate with my own flock. I also sell scarves, mittens, and other felt creations including a host of crazy chickens. I do a little beading work as well, selling stitch markers, bracelets, earrings, and other items. My listings depend on my recent activity and the amount of time I've had available for my studio, which varies tremendously. Enjoy your visit and feel free to ask questions or request special items!

A few notes on SHIPPING! (ugh...everybody's favourite topic...)
I live in Eastern Canada, just northeast of the state of Maine. The Canadian Postal Service is very expensive, especially compared to the US Postal Service.

USA Shipping:
I ship using Canada Post, usually without tracking. Canada Post does provide a tracking number service to the US for a higher fee - please ask for details if you need this option.

Canadian Shipping:
For domestic parcels, the rates are much higher, because there is no small packet rate. A recent shipment of 2.5 oz of yarn to Ontario was over $15. I can, if you wish, flatten out your yarn into a zipper-style baggie, squash the air out, and see if it will fit in the 2 cm slot at the post office, in which case it is much cheaper. This does not work with felt ornaments or other larger items. Smaller skeins of yarn can be squashed. For this cheaper shipping option, I cannot use bubble mailers. I will use a cardboard mailing sleeve.

I do what I can to keep your shipping costs low. I do not charge for packaging materials, etc. Please ask about shipping options if any of this is unclear. If you need your purchase faster, I can ship using various expedited services that are much quicker, and much more expensive.
